From steady steps to a summit-worthy performance, we took hiking shoe maker LOWA to all-new SEO heights.
Why?
LOWA is an established international brand known for its high-quality outdoor footwear. But when we began working with them, the UK site’s organic performance was trailing behind its international counterparts. They lacked visibility, particularly on key commercial pages, and struggled to gain traction in search. The previous strategy before Converted had focused on articles which drove some rankings and awareness but had little to no commercial impact. Category pages were thin on content, the overall user experience needed improvement, and technical issues were holding the site back and the platform was not right for the clients long term goals. LOWA needed a solid SEO strategy to kickstart growth and close the performance gap.

When LOWA UK re-platformed and launched an all-new version of their Shopify website, we provided full SEO support throughout the transition to protect rankings and ensure long-term gains. Managing the entire SEO migration process from planning to execution and post-migration work, analysis and support.
We implemented a comprehensive SEO strategy tailored to the UK market, starting with optimised content specifically for their men’s and women’s boots categories, and building out upper-funnel content to capture earlier-stage users. New ecommerce categories were researched and implemented, and a new navigational architecture was put in place. Product pages were refined for better visibility and engagement, while targeted link-building campaigns helped boost authority.
