Conversion rate optimisation, often abbreviated as CRO, is often thought of as the process of increasing a websites conversion rate, or the number of users on a website completing a desired action.

However there is much more to conversion rate optimisation. For example, the title of conversion rate optimisation or ‘CRO’ is misleading.
